Shaun Whites Personal Superpipe

If you notice all the big names in snowboarding such as Shaun White and Shaun Palmer are pretty young for having put such a big influence in the sport. For example Shaun White being only 24 has made such a big impact on the sport, from going to skate boarding to ripping up the half pipe like its no ones business. He also hit it off in slopstyle, which they kind of took the idea of bmx free riding but switched it up a bit and made it for snowboarding. It’s where they lay out all kinds of different obstacles such as bumps, rails, and jumps and they can combo up any feature they like and that’s how they are judges by the difficulty of the combinations. But one of his most recent achievements is when you one his first snowboarding grand prix. He took home the silver but he’s happy with that because it is one of the most intense tournament there is out their. One of the things Shaun is most recognized for is the half pipe that he had built personally for himself on the back side of Silverton Mountain. It was made 100% out of natural snow, the walls were 22 footers, which are the one of the biggest walls in superpipe.
